💫 From Match to Magic

Our story begins in Sarnia, Ontario, at a cozy riverside restaurant called Match. (Yes, really.) That’s where Vanessa and Emanuel first met, serving up entrees and, unknowingly, something much juicier: a future together.

Between orders and late-night shifts, something sparked. As Vanessa puts it: "We just... clicked." And we’re pretty sure that pun was 100% intentional.

🌍 An Engagement Across the Pond

Fast forward a few years, a lot of laughs, and an ever-growing passport stamp collection. The couple planned a summer Eurotrip in 2024 to attend Emanuel’s best friend’s wedding in Paris. But before the croissants and Eiffel Tower moments, came London.

Vanessa's favorite city. Emanuel knew it. And on a casual walk with her cousin, while crossing the Golden Jubilee Bridge (yes, THAT bridge, with views of Big Ben and the London Eye), he popped the question.

Her words? “I had NO IDEA!” Her answer? A teary, delighted, probably slightly jet-lagged yes.

🌴 Destination: Love (with Guacamole on the Side)

When it came to planning their wedding, one thing was certain: it was going to be a destination celebration. These two are travelers by nature. They knew early on that their hearts beat a little louder near the ocean.

Mexico was a no-brainer: the people, the food, the beaches... and maybe also the margaritas. They chose Wyndham Alltra Cancun, a resort with all the coastal charm and sandy-toed elegance you could ask for. A place where they could gather their favorite people, dance barefoot, and say “I do” with waves as witnesses.

🧼 How We Met (Well, Almost)

Vanessa had been following VO evolution on Instagram, silently scrolling through beachy waves and radiant brides. (Don’t worry, we see you too!)

But it was her wedding coordinator Sabina who gave her that final nudge. Between glowing reviews and our secret superpower — helping brides feel like themselves, only sparklier — Vanessa reached out. And we’re so glad she did.
